Saturday, we went to Self Enhancement Inc to the Culture and Commerce Market. This was a shopping experience with multiple black owned business as well as informational booths about organizations in the community. There were two special guests, the fabulous HBCU Marching Bands: Prairie View A&M from Texas and Southern University from Louisiana. They didn't individual performances and then surprised the crowd with a Battle of the Bands, a energetic display of who is best. They both were amazing! Another great weekend, celebrating Black History Month!
